Out of Art Center College of Design, Coe was tapped by Universal Studios to create advertising campaigns for Out of Africa, Back to the Future & Dune. Coe applies the visual lexicon, cinematic thinking and directorial experience to translate the Creative’s written and verbal visions into industry-leading iconography such as Guillermo de Toro (MIMIC), Kyle Cooper (SEVEN, ARGO, MARVEL), and Karin Fong (BOARDWALK EMPIRE).
Coe directed his first feature, Grim Prairie Tales, starring James Earl Jones and Academy Award-winner Brad Dourif, 1990. Coe’s documentary WE HAVE YOUR KIDS is in distribution.
An interdisciplinary artist, Coe fine artwork is institutional critique. His paintings, sculptures, performance, and films have shown in LA, NY, and Basel, Switzerland.
